Best Practices for Practicing in the Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma
The FBA is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of federal practice, fostering professional development, and strengthening community engagement.
Our chapter plays a vital role in educating members on both criminal law and civil matters, particularly in light of the transformative impact of McGirt v. Oklahoma, 140 S. Ct. 2452 (2020).
Thanks to the generous support of our judiciary, we create valuable opportunities for bench and bar interactions through brown bag lunches and biannual social events, where members can engage with judges in a relaxed setting.
We are committed to shaping the future of the legal profession by actively supporting the FBA student chapter at the University of Tulsa College of Law. Additionally, we engage local high school students—both in traditional and alternative education settings—through a civil discourse program that fosters civic understanding, respect, and critical thinking among the next generation.
Our chapter is proud to have received national recognition for its achievements, earning the FBA Presidential Achievement Award three consecutive years (2021, 2022, and 2023), a testament to our dedication and continued growth.
