Best practices for federal practice in the Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma

The FBA furthers the highest standards of federal practice, professional development, and community outreach.

Our chapter has provided both criminal law education and civil insights after the changes wrought by McGirt v. Oklahoma, 140 S. Ct. 2452 (2020).

With the generous support and participation of our judges, we offer meaningful bench and bar interactions through brown bag lunches and twice-yearly casual social events featuring judicial guests.

We invest in the present and the future by actively supporting the FBA student chapter at the University of Tulsa College of Law. We also facilitate a civil discourse program for local high school students, including homeschooled students and students enrolled in alternative education and counseling programs. These programs foster understanding and appreciation for civics, civility, and critical thinking in rising generations.

Our chapter has won national recognition for our commitment and growth three years in a row, receiving FBA Presidential Achievement Awards in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
